Who is Glen Geditz?

I grew up on a farm just outside a small town with 9 other siblings.  That’s right, a good Catholic Family.  :)   We always had the essentials when I was growing up.  My parents are wonderful people who raised us with good moral standards (Not that we listened all the time)

I joined the Army National Guard when I was 17, between my junior and senior year in high school.  This was really the first time I was actually on my own and felt I was independent.  Basic Training was one of those things that I think everyone should have to go through, but I wouldn’t want to do it twice.

I put myself through college, became a nurse, married my beautiful bride, and we are blessed with three great kids.

The first time I got the idea of owning my own business and really got a taste of broadening my horizons was when I was about 17 years old.  I was rummaging through my older brother’s closet and found this binder with about 8 tapes in it.

I listened to a few of those tapes and couldn’t believe what I was hearing.  The lives these people were living was like something out of a fairy tale and they were telling me anyone could have the same life they did.  That was my first exposure to personal development.

Over the years I joined a few different network marketing companies and opportunities looking for the “quick fix”   After all, no one ever told me this was going to actually take some effort!!  I spent tons of money on the next “sure thing” and found myself further in debt rather than living the life of luxury.

Then in January of 2008 I made a decision to get serious about finding the truth about what it takes to be successful.

I knew the internet was where I wanted to be and I started my quest for knowledge.  I was amazed at what I found…

There were all kinds of people making multiple six figure incomes and they weren’t much different than me.  I really started to dig around and study these successful entrepreneurs.

I started investing in myself and growing not only my knowledge about internet marketing, but also started working more on myself personally.

I spent thousands on different training courses, all promising to give me the answers I’ve been looking for. I learned a lot about marketing on the internet through these courses.  I built web sites; capture pages, youtube videos, joined different systems and spent tons of time and money trying to get my business off the ground.  I jumped on list after list and was receiving more e-mails a day than I could count.

I was on information overload.  I actually got so frustrated, that I stepped away for several months to re-evaluate if marketing online was really the right thing for me.

While I stepped away from the online world I found that I was making things much more complicated than they needed to be.  Marketing your primary business online is just another way to generate leads.  It doesn’t matter if you’re running ads, putting flyers on cars, putting signs on telephone posts, the 3 foot rule, or buying leads, it’s all about getting people in front of your opportunity.  The internet is just another way to generate those leads and get people in front of your opportunity.

There are many “Systems” out there and I joined most of them.  Some are better than others, but I found I was never going to be successful by joining a system that thousands of other people were using.  If you have been online for more than a few weeks, no doubt you have come across some of these systems.  You can recognize these systems by the free training that they offer.  How unique can you really be when you are offering the same free training that thousands of others are offering? You really can’t, can you?  That’s why I decided I didn’t want to be a part of one of those systems and became determined to educate myself on how to generate leads by being a unique individual online and teach others to do the same.

I also started studying successful people who have already taken the journey and reached the financial and personal freedom I was working towards.  I found that all successful entrepreneurs have a few things in common.  Once of the attributes that always seems to pop up is that most all entrepreneurs work very hard at improving not only the technical skills they need to be successful, but they continue to work on themselves personally as well.  By studying other successful entrepreneurs I found that personal development is just as important if not more important than the technical skills you need to build a successful business.  That’s why I continue to study people more successful than I am and learn from their mistakes.  It shortens the learning curve.

The information on this blog will shorten your learning curve.  My commitment to you is to continue to give you valuable content to help you in your quest to online success and personal financial freedom.  You will find information on the technical side of building a network marketing company online as well as how you can grow personally.  Technical knowledge will only get you so far.

I invite you to soak up everything on this site and leave comments frequently.  If there is something you would like covered that you don’t see, please let me know and I will do my best to get it on the site.  Share this site with all of your associates so they too can take advantage of all the information packed into this one site.
