Good post. I reminders me of a story about goldfish growing as big as their bowl. Sometimes we have to change bowls.

Vivid imagery Glen.

I'm convinced most people go to the grave residing in the jar even thought the lid has been removed.

The funny thing about fear is that it's a series of energy waves in the mind. Kinda silly to think that little waves of energy compose the mountains we place in front of ourselves, right?

When feeling uncomfortable, be thankful. You're Living instead of just being alive.

I love Jim Rohn also. I have bought a lot of his informational products in the past. Thank you for sharing.

One thing that a lot of people in the personal development industry (and any success/money-making industry for that matter) have in common is that they put more emphasis on making more money instead of spending less.

I think this is because they all want you to buy their informational products...lol

From my experience, I found that you do more good for your own personal finances by getting your self education for free at the library. By doing this you reduce your expenses...increase your cash flow...and have more money to save and invest.

Much Success,

Glen I love reading your posts because they always provide excellent value and this is a fine example of this. Loved the fleas story. I will make sure I definitely seek out fleas that are outside the jar!

Glen, excellent post and I loved the example you provided about the fleas!

Agree with what you're saying... get past the pain threshhold, move past the comfort zone, and allow folks to offer support who have already been there.

Excellent post Glen. Another of Jim Rohn's little gems is that we must work harder on ourselves than on our business and of course that means continual self learning. I spent a fortune of time and money on marketing education without success until I realized I what I really needed was to spend more time working on me!
