Hey, are you a Zombie?

I know, kind of a silly question. The truth is, most people walk around like sleeping zombies their entire life without every really opening their eyes to opportunity.
I know I am guilty of this myself at times. I start out my week and want to get this done and that done before the weekend, and before I know it, the weekend is here and I basically zombied my way through the entire week without accomplishing much at all.
Being productive on a daily basis is one of the major keys to success in anything you do. To learn how you can be ultra productive in your own online business subscribe to my free newsletter below for simple freebee tips I give away all the time.
Here are a few tips for you to use to keep you on track and get those tasks completed that will make you the success you are striving for.
1. Keep a small notebook beside your bed and check it first thing when you wake up and last thing before you put your head on the pillow. You want to write down everything you want to accomplish the following day in this notebook. Make it a habit to read your daily to do list as soon as you wake up. This will help you get your mind in gear with what you need to accomplish.
At the end of the day check it again and see how you did. Now, don’t beat yourself up if you can’t cross everything off your list, but hold yourself accountable if you weren’t as productive as you should have been. Be sure to add the tasks you didn’t complete (if any) to the list for the next day and make those the top priority.
2. Block off time when you will work on your home business. Let your family know you will be hard at work during a certain time of the day and should not be disturbed. You will be amazed at how much you can get done if you are not disturbed for an hour or two (This includes keeping your e-mail shut as tight as a ducks butt!!). Small distractions can be huge time wasters.
3. Find a room, a corner, anywhere except your bedroom that will be designated as your work space. When you enter your workspace you know you are there for one purpose only, and that is to run your business. This will keep you in the right mindset which will increase your productivity because your mind will know you mean business when you enter this domain. Kind of like how Superman transforms in a telephone boot.
If you implement just one of these suggestions you will be amazed at how much you will get done in a very short amount of time. Don’t walk around like an unproductive Zombie any longer. Wake Up, and take action today towards your goals.

Right Glen,
Great advice, I know exactly what you mean, it is hard to keep focused when you get a knock on the door, the phone rings or your computer dings because you have mail. Darn I wanted to implement the duck somewhere, well next time.
